Housing 
Hi.

I've been accepted to Tech for the Fall 2008 and I was wondering:

What are the perks of living on either side of campus?
Also, which buildings are preferable?

On another topic, how is campus life and is there a lot to do on the weekends and stuff?

I'm really excited about coming to Tech!!

I ask you look at the topic entitled "Choosing a Dorm" in this forum for the answers to your first two questions.

Campus life is pretty lively. If you go out and find something to do, there's a lot to do on weekends. A shuttle on weekends takes students to Atlantic Station during the day.. so shopping (grocery included) and movies are a very popular option during weekend afternoons.

This is midtown Atlanta we're talking about, meaning lots to do :)

In the student center at tech there's a bowling alley and movie theater and within reasonable traveling distance you've got the Fox Theater, Atlantic Station, the Georgia Aquarium, and just about anything else you can think of :)
