Classes over the Summer 

Hi,

I am a recent High School graduate and I will be attending Ga Tech starting fall 2008. I had a question concerning summer credits. Is it possible for me to take classes at another Georgia College over the summer and have the credits transfer over when I start GA Tech in the fall? Would I be considered a transfer student or freshman. Would my acceptance to GAtech still stand because when I applied, I did not know I would be going to Summer school and applied as a freshman?

Re: Classes over the Summer 

Freshmen beginning in the fall semester are allowed to attend another college and take classes during the summer before they begin at Tech.  Just make sure that you have sent a final transcript to the registrar once the classes are complete.
