Eligibility

Hi Admission Officers, my name is Josh and i go to a community college in California. my current GPA is 3.92 and im in a few extra curricular activities,...my college record is clean, all A's, i got a 2310 on my SAT and a 800 on my math and Physics SAT Subjects, its all good, im very much interested in coming as a junior transfer to Georgia Tech for Aerospace Engineering, but during my high school years my GPA was very poor (2.0 or less)...is my high school transcript going to affect my chances of getting into Georgia Tech?

Re: Eligibility

I am moving your post to the Ask Admissions about transferring message board.  However, please read through the transfer admissions info page and you should see that the requirements for transferring to Tech are not hinged on high school grades.

Re: Eligibility

Hello,

For transfer students, we do not review high school material to make our admissions decision. We use three factors: GPA, requried courses, and transferrable hours. These requirements vary from major to major and with your residency status. Please see the transfer website to view the specific requirements for the major that interests you.
